It was now time to get back to work on my work. It took some time to get back to where I left off. I had to re-read through many times to get back on track. Once I was able to get into the flow of things things become much easier. I was working on the Chapter 5 questions therefore I had to look back at other power points to get the format set up. I also had to re-read much off the chapter and look over my notes to get everything ready to create the power point. While creating the questions from the information in the chapter regarding turnover rates and preparing for vacancies reminded me about coaching. As a coach you need to be very prepared for people to go another direction. Departures can be a surprise or expected much like in regular jobs. As a coach you also create a profile for the “job” you have available for student-athletes. There were many parallels to be made that I will take from this chapter.
