Today I was dealing with Chapters 5 and 8. After looking back at all of my notes from reading the reading and creating the power points it was time to create some questions. Creating quality questions is a difficult at times as you try to hit as many different topics as possible. It is important to create questions that are thought provoking and a challenge.
Chapter 5 was very fun to look at from a question perspective. Recruiting and talent acquisition is pretty much the number part of being a coach. Many people do not look at it this way but when student-athletes are being recruiting they are essentially being interviewed by the coach. Interviews can be formal and informal.
Chapter 8 dealt a lot with training and at times creating the questions become confusing even to my self at times because I did not want to mix up the wrong trainings. It did however provide good options for the multiple choice questions. I never did realize that there were so many different types of trainings out there as well, it really is endless.
